Countertop terminals
Mains-powered, sits by the till, usually the cheapest per-terminal option. Right for a fixed serving point that never moves.
Portable and mobile terminals
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or 4G. For table service, trades on site, markets and anywhere the customer does not come to a counter.
Tap to pay on a phone
No terminal at all. Suits low volumes, a second point of sale, or a business that was never worth a dedicated device.
Integrated POS
The terminal talks to the point-of-sale system, so the amount is never keyed twice. Removes a whole class of end-of-day discrepancy.
Online payments
Gateways and hosted checkout, including the accounting and e-commerce platforms most small businesses already run.
